Her career started at an engineering firm where she created the marketing department from scratch and was responsible for marketing a small, local business throughout North America.
She has since spent time at a statewide public relations firm honing her media relations skills and teaching students at Grand Valley State University and DePaul University.
Her business has grown organically as clients have called asking for a personalized approach to their specific marketing and communications needs.
Her sweet spot is clients who are small to medium size, who either don’t have a full time marketing or communications person on staff or have a junior staff person that needs strategy or direction. These businesses are often owned by a family or small team who want to start with a local audience and expand out, whose business may be technical in nature, is often business to business and have a desire to connect with community.
